Poker Night Clock Start a tournament

Your data

Poker Night Clock works without an account. Here is exactly what is stored and where.

On this device

Your tournament in progress, your last setup and your settings are saved in this browser’s storage. This is the working copy: the clock never waits for the internet. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

On our server

While you are online, the same records are backed up to our server so a tournament can be restored if this browser’s storage is cleared. The backup is linked to a random device code kept in a cookie, not to your name or email. We store only a scrambled (hashed) form of that code.

Backups can include anything you typed into the app, such as a tournament name and, if you entered them, player names. Backups for devices that have not been used for 400 days are deleted.

You can turn the server backup off, or delete everything stored for this device, from the Data on this device section of the timer page, or from the clock menu.

Visitor statistics

The site runs on Cloudflare, which counts page visits for us with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not follow you across other sites. It records things like the page address, the referring site, your browser type, your approximate location and page load times. It does not see what you type into the app; tournaments, player names and amounts stay on your device and in your backup, and are never part of a page address.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or share your data.
  • We do not handle money. Amounts in the app are a record of what you enter.
  • We do not run advertising trackers or set tracking cookies.
